Case Study: Sunlight House, Manchester
Flowcrete’s Mondeco Flooring range shone at the refurbishment of Sunlight House, a landmark building on Manchester’s Quay Street. This iconic structure, rich in heritage and originally designed by architect Joseph Sunlight in 1932, required an upgrade to maintain its historic charm while offering modern functionality.
Mondeco Flooring Systems Installation
For this project, Flowcrete’s Mondeco Terrazzo flooring system was applied to transform the reception area and public spaces, including a café. Collaborating with contractors Ardmac and designers SpaceInvader, Ancorite, our trusted partner ensured that the new flooring complemented the building's art deco style while meeting contemporary standards of durability and elegance.
The ground floor now features striking Flowcrete Mondeco Terrazzo flooring, adorned with brass accessories and finished with perimeter Precast Terrazzo Cove Skirting. This combination not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also provides long-lasting performance in high-traffic areas.
