Flowcrete Mondeco Rapide seamless terrazzo sets the right first impression at a prestigious office development in the heart of Leeds.
Manchester-based architecture practice, Sheppard Robson, wanted to specify the flooring for a high-end office development in Leeds. It was important for their client that the floor’s appearance and feel would add to the entrance’s sophisticated interior design. Responsible waste management was also a priority.
We specified our Mondeco Rapide seamless terrazzo in a contemporary and stunning light shade of grey, using recycled materials as aggregates in keeping with the project’s green credentials and design-led environment.

A five component, rapid curing resin terrazzo floor system, it provides a durable, non-porous luxurious finish, with extensive flexible design properties and UV light resistance.
The floor's longevity is another key sustainability factor, with Mondeco Rapide’s exceptional durability and heat conductivity cutting out potential emissions and resources that would be needed for a replacement floor in years to come.

Successful waste management was achieved through effective project planning executed by our specialist contractors, who are part of our exclusive network of approved terrazzo installers. Milestone Industrial Flooring Ltd, of Pontefract, worked to stringent safety and sustainability standards to apply the floor finish, including COVID-19 protocols, as well as specialist monitoring activities to ensure local businesses and shops on the site boundary could operate without any limitations.
