Bentley Motors turned to Flowcrete to find a high performance floor surface for its main production facility located in Crewe, Cheshire.

As part of a £64 million refurbishment of the world-class factory, the floor needed to be installed under a fast-track programme to ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day production activities within the plant.

The luxury automotive manufacturer opted for a series of Flowcrete's seamless flooring systems in order to ensure structural integrity and best-in-class performance at its main production site.

Firstly Hydraseal Damp Proof Membrane was installed to protect the floor from rising moisture, followed by Flowscreed Industrial Top to provide a hard wearing floor system and finally Flowcoat SF41 - a ultra-strong, high build resin coating.

Flowcoat SF41 has excellent stain and chemical resistance properties, provides an anti-slip surface and a hard wearing durable finish that is easy to maintain and built to last. Flowcrete's flooring solution radically transformed the 22,500 sq metre area into an attractive and hard-wearing working environment.

Work at the site also included the installation of some 3,000 sq metres of Flowcrete'sFlowseal EPW - a hygienic and vapour permeable floor coating suited to areas of pedestrian and light traffic.
